RAMISH NADEEM: Creative Director

Ramish Nadeem is an unabashedly Texan Immigrant Muslim organizer who works to dismantle Islamophobia and white supremacy in a Southern context. He also works within the Texan Muslim communities to re-imagine religious spaces and reclaim the potential for spirituality and religion to serve as sites of healing from trauma, liberation from oppression, and re-engagement with our spiritual selves.

Towards these ends, Ramish organizes with the Muslim youth Leadership Council, served as a board member of Muslim Space, and was a co-founder of the student campus group Muslims and Allies at Southwestern University. He has worked on de-escalation teams, led Know Your Rights trainings, facilitated workshops on countering anti-Blackness, lobbying for reproductive justice, and more.

His work on Pinkwashing, Islamophobia, Reproductive Justice in Muslim Spaces, and International LGBT Human Rights frameworks has been presented at NCORE 2019, Facing Race 2018, AfY's Urban Retreat, Take Root 2018, and more
