RAMISH NADEEM: President

Ramish Nadeem is an unabashedly Immigrant Muslim organizer who works to dismantle Islamophobia and white supremacy in the DC area where he is currently the Program Manager for the Muslim & International Youth Advocacy program at Advocates for Youth.

Ramish is a founding member of Bulbul Collective and has organized with the Muslim youth Leadership Council, served as a board member of Muslim Space and was a co-founder of the student campus group Muslims and Allies at Southwestern University. He has worked on de-escalation teams, led Know Your Rights trainings, facilitated workshops on countering anti-Blackness, lobbying for reproductive justice, and more.

His work on Pinkwashing, Islamophobia, Reproductive Justice in Muslim Spaces, and International LGBT Human Rights frameworks has been presented at the United Nations, NCORE 2019, Facing Race 2018, AfY's Urban Retreat, Take Root 2018, and more.
