Ashley Miznazi: Podcast Producer

Ashley Miznazi is Bulbul’s podcast co-producer and a reporter for the Miami Herald. Her parents immigrated to the U.S. from Iran and Syria in their 20's and had kids in Dallas. Ashley graduated as a first-generation graduate from The University of Texas. While in college, she produced and hosted the podcast, "Darkness: Austin Bomber." She also worked at The Texas Tribune, where she created short documentaries on Afghan resettlement and the foster care system.
